Most people don't see the work Cremildo Chauque does. They just see the delivery arriving on time.
Based in Mozambique, Cremildo works in IT at Unitrans, keeping systems, networks, and technology running across multiple sites.
One of the growth moments Cremildo recalls came during a major network rollout across Xinavane, Mafambisse, Marromeu, and Matola Depot. Mid-rollout, an unexpected glitch hit. The team didn't panic. They resolved it fast, and the fix improved every rollout that followed. That's the kind of problem-solving that doesn't make headlines but makes a difference.
He credits his mentor, Albert Motloung, for shaping how he approaches challenges: with patience, a focus on the team, and a commitment to finding the solution rather than dwelling on the problem.
His motto is "Keep moving, keep growing."
If he could work from anywhere, it would be Pemba, on the Mozambican coast. Coastal energy, ocean views, and still getting the job done.

Another unforgettable @_sani2c 🙌🏻📸
Just over a week ago, I once again had the amazing honor of covering the ‘iconic’ Sani2c for @unitransgroup 🚵🏻♂️🚛 what a privilege it always is to be part of this amazing race for such a special organization!
This is where it begins 🌾 The first step in every journey we move–rooted in care, grown with intention, and carried forward with purpose 🚛

Mining logistics doesn’t forgive inefficiency ⛏️ Every route, every payload, every decision on the ground affects operational cost and output 📊
Episode 5 of the Make Growth Happen podcast gets into exactly that 🎙️ John Kettlewell and Keiran Ward talk payload optimisation, AI route planning, and why lower emissions in mining logistics come from smarter operations, not alternative fuels 🌱🚛

This time last week you were most likely navigating the journey to Glencairn Farm, wondering if everything was going to fit into the infamous ‘black box’, whether you’d packed enough spares, clothes and snacks.
Now, life pre-KAP sani2c has resumed.
So here’s a little dopamine hit for your Tuesday, a recap of Adventure Day 2.
Day 2. The long day. Early alarms. Big views. Proper reward.
From the drop into the Umkomaas Valley to the flowing magic of Yankee Doodle and Sosiba’s Section, it was a day of wide eyes and steady pacing. River crossings, wooden bridges, game farms and that build-up to Iconic that tests legs and partnership in equal measure.
Some climbed it clean. Some walked with pride. All earned the view from the top.
Then the roll through Highflats and the final neutral Unitrans Green Mile into Jolivet, tired but smiling.

83km into Day 2, the climb was relentless, but so were Nicolette & Eloise. From early morning pedal strokes to the final push of the day, every split told a story of determination, teamwork, and adventure.
There were tough climbs, tired legs, moments of silence, and moments of laughter, the kind only shared on long rides like these. But through every kilometre, they kept showing up for the mountain and for each other. ⛰️🚴♀️✨
This iconic climb isn’t just about the finish line. It’s about the memories made somewhere between the struggle and the summit.
Day 2 is here, and so is the moment every rider has been preparing for. It’s time to tackle the Unitrans Iconic Climb ⛰️🚴♂️
2.9 kilometres of technical climbing that tests every rider on the route 🚵♂️ The goal is to reach the top without putting a foot down. For many, that’s the moment that defines their entire race.
After the summit, riders drop down through the KwaZulu-Natal countryside before rolling into the Jolivet Farm finish along the Unitrans Mile 🛣️ A 2-kilometre sidewalk built for the race and for the Hlutankungu community, who use it every day. Look out for the gardens along the verge. The pride in this place is real 🌱

Day 1 at the KAP sani2c unfolded exactly as expected — long kilometres, shifting terrain, and a steady test of endurance from the outset ⛰️🚴♂️
Through the KZN Midlands, the pace found its rhythm and the field began to spread. Eloïse and Nicolette rode a consistent, measured stage to finish in 06:32:35 – holding strong positions across the board and securing Top 10 in Sub-Vet.
