United Nations in India Resident Coordinator @stefan_priesner visited the One Stop Centre in #Bhubaneswar’s Capital Hospital, where @unfpaindia supports the government in providing survivors of gender-based violence with trauma-informed and comprehensive care.
Survivors can receive medical attention, legal aid, counselling services, temporary shelter and police assistance by reporting at One Stop Centres, with the process now aided by the Shakti app, a blockchain platform developed by the #Odisha State Government and @unfpa to leverage data to integrate coordination across One Stop Centres and shelter homes.
