@thomass_jackson is a self-taught musician, producer, and DJ who in recent years has positioned himself as one of the freshest and most interesting proposals in the Latin American electronic scene. He has released music through labels such as Multi Culti, Correspondant, Lumiere Noire, and his own label, Calypso Records, one of the most relevant labels in the national scene alongside Iñigo Vontier. Thomass can move between genres and styles without losing his distinctiveness. This has opened the doors for him to collaborate with artists like Red Axes, Simple Symmetry, Curses, and Thomas Von Party. He has performed in some of the most representative clubs and parties in Mexico such as Bar Americas, Funk, M.N. Roy, Capricho, LooLoo, Topaz Deluxe, Departamento, and Lazy Sundays, to name a few.
Recurrent tours through Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, and North America have positioned him as one of the most original and dynamic selectors in the scene. He has performed in clubs like Opium in Lithuania, Output in New York, Breakfast in Tel Aviv, Moog in Barcelona, and Vent in Tokyo. Festivals like Burning Man, Trópico, and recently Core (Tomorrowland) have ranked him as one of the most energetic and purposeful acts. As a promoter, he has held events with his label Calypso Records, known as Calypso Cult, sharing decks with Manfredas, Dj Oil, and Ivan Smagghe among others. He currently resides in CDMX.
