👁️: after teasing the collab some weeks back, @telfarglobal and @timberland officially hard launched their collab this week the iconic 6 inch boot got three makeovers - a low cut fit, turning the boot into a slip on loafer, an 11 inch mid pull on boot and 26 inch tall pull on boot. the extended material on the pull on boot allows wearers to slouch, scrunch, drape, and even fold it all the way over, maximising both versatility and personal style. they even tapped in with @wh2love , a designer who went viral for creating his own custom timb loafers, to get the telfar slip ons made the collection also features shopper bag in timberlands signature wheat colourway as well as a slouch bag. all boots are due to drop soon in wheat and black

👁️: Inspired by the exclusive private clubs of Japan and the United States in the 1960s, @pieces.uniques collection embodies a timeless elegance and a sense of belonging. Creative director @eddluu has envisioned “Club pour Homme” as a sanctuary where individuals from all walks of life can gather and connect. This collection is more than just fashion; it’s a tribute to those unique spaces where people come together, irrespective of their professions or daily routines. The genesis of this collection can be traced back to a vintage magazine named “Men’s club” that Edmond discovered in Japan “Men’s club” is a men’s fashion magazine that embodies the knowledge of the “unchiku” with a refined sense of elegance. Drawing inspiration from Japanese workwear, military attire, vintage biker aesthetics, American preppy style, and vintage sportswear, Luu has crafted a collection that blends diverse cultural influences. The collection is dominated by bold lettering inspired by American letterman designs, showcased on knitwear and jersey, and creatively adapted to more conceptual pieces. Central to this collection is the use of jadestone, a significant element in Edmonds Asian heritage. Inspired by a narrative centered around a jade mine, the stone serves as an embellishment throughout the collection—from buttons to embroideries on denim sets—symbolizing the labour and social stratification associated with the mine from a pants, to a jacket, to a special hat designed in collaboration with upcoming Parisian brand Abela. Additionally, Luu reimagines the workwear staple, the tie, layering hundreds of them to make it a layered camo fabric. This innovative approach underscores the collection’s commitment to merging tradition with contemporary design. With “Club pour homme”, Pieces Uniques invites you to experience a blend of classic sophistication and contemporary flair, designed to highlight the distinctive silhouettes that tell the stories of those who wear them. It’s about creating a universe where everyone is welcome, individuality is celebrated, and stories are shared through personal style. 📸: @pieces.uniques 📝: @kelly.undiscovered

👁️: i had catch up with @yams_9102 to talk about his hat, it’s one of the most unique i’ve seen in a while. his work is largely inspired by origami, and as you can see this hat was made from one piece of canvas, folded into shape and tied together by a lace, where the criss cross pattern itself is like the cherry on top.

👁️: @ellafantasia is taking us right back to school with this one, which is ironic as it’s part of her student project for @bafcsm inspired by school and the nostalgia of childhood, she designed a top, bag and cap made of denim and chalkboard for you to draw anything you’d like AND erase it, making it very customisable. for her, it’s an expression of creativity, “those moments of studying with friends, daydreaming in class, and imagining without limits. When I feel creatively stuck, I often wish I could go back to that version of myself” she says. so so sick, 10/10 on the creativity.

👁️: @yaku.____ got into his bag for his Nike Re-Creation collab He designed this ACG jacket, which has this all over sublimation print of reptilian skin. everything this guy does is so exciting, when it comes to world building, he’s in a world of its own. he’s one of the most promising designers to watch coming out of Britain.

👁️: this london based designer @christian.silvani has some of the creative headwear in the city right now. taking on interesting shapes, silhouettes and designs, he merges this with familiar patterns and materials resulting in the hats being the most unique in the room.

👁️: nah idc, this is some of @stolenarts_ ’s best work it just looks fun, you can tell he’s just having fun with it and keeping it playful which is the key to creative energy. i like how he toned it down a lil and kept it more minimal with the black and silver version to sit amongst the colourful ones. that all over button addition is 10/10.

👁️: the algorithm has been blessing me with mad boots recently and that’s most definitely not a complaint anyways, @9ontask / @9onoctz just came up on my radar for their really unique boot design. when i look at this the word “excess” comes to mind. the excess material gives it this super slouched & rugged look replicating the same effect stacked jeans have. the black stitch details on the red are sick also, looks as if the shoes went under an operation which is fitting as all the boots are handmade. i think that handmade element can really be seen in the details and overall design of the boot.
