a bittersweet announcement: after much reflection, i have decided to put underworld to rest—at least for now. this journey has been a wild (insane) and immensely rewarding katabasis/descent, which has brought me so many cherished critters & collaborators, so much magic & madness. it has also been financially, spiritually, emotionally, psychically & physically unsustainable to its core, and it’s time for me to make space for new projects & new ways of making, new modes & new ways of being in the cosmos. i have traveled to the underworld and been transformed beyond measure. all i can express is deep and profound gratitude to all the creatures who made this dream come true. to celebrate four years of madness, i have decided to have a little farewell show that we’re calling @underworld4ever because as anyone who’s ever been to the underworld knows, souls never die… and what happens in the underworld, stays in the underworld… forever underworld FOREVER will be like a subterranean retrospective, a sweet weird & tender collective recollection-resurrection, a “greatest hits” of the underland. naturally, it will feature some of the underworld’s most stellar, sensational & sublime creatures: 👁️ @g0d.c0mplex 👁️ @klondyke_drag 👁️ @mizup0i_kappa 👁️ @whoistiresias 👁️ @audiotootoo 👁️ @untitledqueen with puppet interventions by DIE SCHLAMPES (aka @damesinclair @s____laughter & @audiotootoo ) see you in the belly of the beast babes SUNDAY DEC 14 @cmoneverybodybk DOORS 7PM /// SHOW 8PM tickets on sale soon love and other monsters, tiresias this show was made possible through a generous grant from @bkartscouncil 👁️🖤 🕳️
