This is my baby sister! I am so lucky that she happens to live with me. I wanted to try a new sunscreen under some base products so I had her come to the salon with me. Swipe for videos! I have not yet had the pleasure of doing any of my sisters wedding makeup. However doing their makeup in general can be such a trip. It feels so odd to do makeup on your own features… but not your face. We have nearly the same eyes and identical lips. Any guesses on how much younger than me she is?! Haha.. I promise we won’t be offended.

I dug up some 2016 makeup looks! I had a 1YR that year, so I wasn’t working a ton. However that didn’t mean that I wasn’t getting creative. Pre-microbladed brows so you know I was creating them from scratch everyday with @anastasiabeverlyhills dipbrow.

I wanted to use something personal as these are my own opinions. You should know what I stand for before they decide to book with me. Also this outfit was for a disco themed skate night with my @dragonbellyrollerspnwrollerfit thanks to my friend @seaspellfiber for outfit loan! I have been away from this account for most of this year. Dealing with my own health and wellness. I just wanted to make something abundantly clear. I disagree with everything that our current government administration is doing. I was raised in very legalistic Christianity. In a small white, conservative, rural town. I was part of and living inside of Christian nationalism. I know how this is all being justified. I hate it. I left the church over 10 years ago, though did not truly leave the religion until 2020. I know there are good Christians. I believe Jesus was a good person. I do not believe that Jesus would be standing in the midst of today’s “Christian church”. Immigrants regardless and of status are owned due process and humane treatment. I believe Black Lives Matter. The Genocide in Gaza, Sudan and DRC needs to stop. Trans lives are sacred. I think our government should take care of its citizens. I stand with Ukraine. I obviously believe in free speech. Fuck the Patriarchy. Vaccines saves lives (and do not cause autism). Abortions are healthcare. Charlie Kirk was a terrible person. FDT. Anything I am forgetting?!

Getting to style both partners on a wedding day has to be my favorite things. Sometimes we all hang out together, no surprises. Sometimes they want a big reveal so it’s more one on one. Also it only feels fair that both people get pampered! We want everyone to look and feel their best on the wedding day! Ashlee and Jaime wanted a big reveal so I styled them separately. I had the best time, they had the sweetest puppies to. This day was a dream and it wouldn’t have been possible without the stellar vendor team! My friends and clients with natural texture, please wear it for special occasions! I would be so happy to style it for you. It’s just as beautiful as “beach waves” and way more stable against the elements! Of course I want you to be happy with your hair style and many will choose a straighter/smoother look. That’s fine, BUT I will always ask about your natural texture and having a plan B (Bad weather) hair style in mind. For most I suggest utilizing your natural texture. The wind, the rain or just the moisture off the ocean will impact how your hair holds. For many that means frizz and curls relaxing. Depending on how long of a day you have planned I try to give you ideas for styles that I think might work with your natural texture. The Oregon coast is a rugged location and unfortunately the elements don’t care how your hair looks. Luckily I do, and we can figure out a plan for ideal longevity. Stunning photos by @venturingvows

One of 5 photos I took this season. I loved the undone twist look this year. If I was asked for a recommendation this was my choice. It’s so fun and a slightly different take then what you expect for a “bridal updo.” Huge thanx to photographers that sent me galleries. I didn’t even have to ask, you are the best people. It’s always special to get to see the finished product of the big day. I appreciate you all. I am figuring out some helpful information to share with clients looking to get married on the Oregon Coast. I love when people come out here for the first or second time to get married but sometimes there are unexpected hiccups. Luckily I have done this a lot by now and would love to make things as easy as possible.

I’m alive. I honestly don’t know when I was last logged into this account. Probably last November or December. I am so sincerely sorry to people who didn’t hear from me. This is other amazing vendors as well as clients hoping to work together. I was in a bad place last winter/spring and I had to really change how I operated this wedding season. I am currently caught up on inquiries as I just officially opened my books for 2026. I will attempt to wade through many old dms. I hope you all had a wonderful wedding season. Here is to many changes going into next year and better health/life/work balance.

The most beautiful evening at @mcmenaminsgearhart this past weekend! A formal, intimate, dinner-party wedding at the coast. Cozy vibes, acoustic music, mingling and warmth. I took Sam’s photos years ago and it was an honor to photograph his wedding after all this time! 🥹 Venue: @mcmenaminsgearhart Makeup and hair: @underwoodmakeup Flowers: @blumpdx Coordinator: @rosedaeevent.co Dress: @truesociety_thewhitedress Music: @anica_music #katyweaverphotography #mcmenamins #eveningwedding #indoorwedding #novemberwedding

Shaylynn + Ash absolutely embody the term “soulmates.” This was definitely one of the most incredible elopements I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing — their energy was SO infectious — every single person there could FEEL the joy in the air & I have seriously never seen two people with such a “high-school-teenager” kind of love than these guys. It felt like I was witnessing a forever honeymoon phase & it was sooo special! 😭 We started off their day with a private lil adventure hiking cliffside & doing a first look on the coast — it was absolutely stunning & so fun! They split their day up so they could include their family and close friends while also taking time to enjoy their wedding privately 🥹 the sweetest ceremony with some sentimental traditions — it was so beautiful and there wasn’t a dry eye on that beach! Thank you SO much for including me during this special time in your lives you two! I’m so grateful to have been a part of it and getting to know you both on a deeper level has touched my heart forever. ❤️

what eloping on the oregon coast could look like. 🤯🦌🌅 n+m began their elopement day at their cabin among the trees. they leisurely drank coffee + made breakfast together. afterwards, they hiked into their ceremony spot all to themselves and exchanged personal vows with the sound of the ocean and nature all around. later in the day (yes, you can schedule in a big break during your elopement day), we met up for a pizza picnic on the beach complete with wild elk as special guests. soon dusk took over the coast with soft pastels, piney distant campfires, and quiet contentedness along the ocean. it was heavenly.
