Shoot session for talking head videos. The plan was a soft look. Small crew. Minimal light set up. Personally i love shooting these type of videos. Anything with a controlled setting, count me in. Bts: @vickydcjnr #corporatevideo #colorgrading #lagosvideographer

frames from a recent documentary. Modupe Fadugba’s Dear Young Artist. @modupeola.fadugba what a top tier level genius she is. Pretty interesting to see how everything came about. From planning, to pre production and production. This project was dance translating art into movement. Through the choreography, the dear young artist piece received artistic interpretation. more to come on this. Shout out to the creative gurus on this project. @leapofdanceacademy @goldenshutternigeria @withlove.snap @vickydcjnr

What I love about filming luxury events. Luxury events allow me to tell stories through aesthetics. The textures, the colors, the elegance of movement. I personally love the exclusivity that comes with it. Capturing those moments requires a balance of being present but unobtrusive. It’s about observing, anticipating, and documenting without disrupting the atmosphere. Cons of luxury/ exclusive events? Sometimes a lot of people don’t want to be filmed (and for good reasons) but as a filmmaker, your job is to work with what you have. Take the crumbs you have and make a gourmet out of it. I love the challenge. And yeah, getting to eat food that I can’t pronounce their names.

An episode on failed projects. After spending days and months going from ideation to story boarding, location scouting and shot listing for this short film, the day arrived and the shoot itself went great. Well there were some shots that didn’t pan out the way i wanted it to. Then disaster struck after we packed up and was heading home. This heavy downpour happened and let’s just say filmmaking equipments and water don’t go too well. It wasn’t just personal project went sour, it was an aftermath of unplanned expenses. After that day, the desire to start post production completely left me. And i sort of said to myself that i won’t open that project. Anytime i look at it in my hard drive, the thought of that day just comes back. Honestly, this is the joy of filmmaking. The highs , the lowest of lows, the set backs, the “i actually planned but the shots didn’t come out how i wanted it”, the “it will take more than you have but you have to do more with less”Taking on personal projects has been the bedrock of growth for me over the years. I know better, i learn faster. Anyhoo, this is the closest i can get to sharing this project. I have tried abi. Can i hear the applause in the comment section? Thank you, you’re far too kind. Will definitely be doing more personal projects because i do love to tell stories. Hopefully the weather becomes an ally to the craft. If you read to the point, I’m worried for you. You might need to get a job or you just love me or you’re just jobless. no i think it’s the love thing. hmmm nah, it’s the lack of an income provider. lol. just kidding. inserts air quotes. chao chao. I leave you with this. A wise man once said that if the trees

for color grading, my plan was a clean, proper contrast , richer colors, and accurate skin tones that pops. Color grading really does elevate footage. #colorgrading #corporateevent

The past few weeks has been an interesting one. Delivering a same-day edit for a multi-day event wasn’t just about speed, it was about storytelling, discipline, and teamwork. And it’s experiences like this that continue to shape me as a filmmaker, pushing my craft, my workflow, and my ability to deliver excellence under pressure. #corporatefilmmaker

I’m glad I kept the camera rolling for this one. Tominiini’s story is definitely one for the books. and one of the things that totally left me in awe was how much support she got from her parents, most especially her mother. That woman has moved mountains and Is still doing so. I heard stories that made me believe no dream will be too big to achieve if a child comes from that type of household. Having a child she’s not the only one in this, the one who believes in her dreams can make the biggest difference. I was enamored by her mother’s action. The thought, the sacrifice and the intentionality. Once again, here’s flowers to all the incredible mothers out there who stand by their children, who celebrate their wins and lift them up in their struggles—your love and support make all the difference. Tomi’s Story. 31st March, 2025. See you on YouTube on the UNCRAFTCREATIVE channel. Please go subscribe while’s you’re at it. #happymothersday
