The University of Massachusetts Amherst Dance Program is thrilled to welcome New York City dance agent Shauna Mitchell as a special guest panelist for the UMass Amherst Mock Audition Project led by Guest Lecturer Professor Ramon Baynes. @ramonibaynes
This exciting professional development experience will take place on Friday, March 13 from 2:30 to 4:30 pm in Totman Gym on the UMass Amherst campus.
The mock audition will be structured as a professional industry call for Doja Cat. The experience is designed to fully immerse dancers in the expectations, energy, and pressure of a high level commercial audition.
Participants will learn choreography, perform in audition groups, and receive direct feedback from a professional panel. This is a high focus, high energy environment designed to challenge dancers both artistically and professionally.
Come prepared to perform and step into the world of the commercial dance industry.
