The Smith College Department of Dance presents the Spring Grad Dance Event, Thursday, April 30 at 8:00 pm in Scott Dance Studio.This exciting first look at new work by Smith MFA 1st year candidates features composite of bodies, vying by Michael Figueroa, Fish Monger (Mother) by Lauren Horn, and Summāq by Lindsey Jones. Spring Auditions for Five College dancers and dance community! Exciting News, Natalie Rogers-Cropper, executive director of the Garth Fagan Company / principal dancer, will be at the auditions to watch you dance. Sunday April 12, 10:00-2:00, Totman Gym, UMass, doors open at 9:30am for warm up. The Spring 26 Audition is for several of the Fall 26 Faculty Repertory Projects. We encourage you to audition for all three as faculty will watch each other’s auditions. The Smith College Department of Dance presents the 2026 Senior Dance Concert: Orbit in Hallie Flanagan Studio Theatre, featuring Swing Theory by Audrey Garfinkel, Trance-End by Isa Skare, Leveling by Dahlia Riddington, In The Frizz by Sadie Arundale, and chemical murmuration by Addie Bowen. The concert consists of five contemporary pieces that explore fearlessness, curiosity, play, complexity, and stardust created under the guidance of Artistic Director Angie Hauser.
