📢 ANNOUNCING 📢 the release of pre-orders for our upcoming, first ever vinyl of OUTFOX - the album. Alongside this 3rd and final part of the OUTFOX video. We worked hard with Berlin-based designer Nina Eggemann to represent in graphic form how our brains work and how the music evolved. There is a 4-page booklet inside the sleeve. Some people ask us how we create together and whilst we could go all scholarly on you, honestly, the process is filled of influences ranging from the Uirapuru (musician wren) to curry recipies by the Vah Chef. So the album artwork is both an insight and also an alternative way to listen. When a prophecy is unintentionally hidden in your music video...here is part 2 of OUTFOX where the digital versions of us perform our music. It turns out our digital selves eat fewer chips and go to the gym. Bastards. Those CGI versions which we actually love, were created and perfected with immense attention to detail and huge skill by @ultimo_gomito . The storyboard was masterminded by director and cinematographer @avbadham , and when we devised the narrative (a few years ago) we had no idea that at that precise moment there were companies mining our data, music and ideas in a murky, collosal intellectual robbery that would magically emerge all at once as "AI". In our video, the CGI avatars slowly take over the real Witch 'n' Monk. You'll see in the final part. In reality AI doesn't necessarily pose a threat to the radically creative music scene. If anything the power of people stretching themselves, transmitting intangible human emotions, and overcoming obstacles live on stage, provides the antidote to the controlled environment of the screen. Quite a while before AI was rammed down all our throats, we met @avbadham and @ultimo_gomito for a coffee in Kreuzberg. We played them OUTFOX and asked "how would you depict this music in a video?". Gomito raised his iconic eyebrows and muttered a lot of things about chasing rabbits and scenes changing at lightspeed while Alex remained quiet with a gentle smirk and said: "what if some CGI android versions of you hijacked your music, stuck you in some sort of tank and then masqueraded as you, playing a gig at the Uber Eats arena while you were still trapped in the vortex?" This was not intended to be a prophecy but we did think it sounded appropriate. You can now watch what we made over on youtube.
