Hosted by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation (
@recfoundation ), the VEX Robotics World Championship is the world’s largest educational robotics competition, featuring divisions from elementary school through university level.
This year’s championship featured about 840 elementary and middle school teams from over 50 countries competing in more than 1,200 matches, making Lotus Root’s achievement on the international stage especially impressive. 👍
According to the team’s coach, the students showed outstanding self-discipline and problem-solving skills throughout their preparation, continuously improving and optimizing their robot’s performance despite challenges.
Behind the team’s success is the shared dedication of students, parents, and mentors. Through robotics competitions, students strengthen 🛠️💻 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) skills such as engineering design, programming, and robotics control, while also developing hands-on learning, perseverance, teamwork, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Let us congratulate Team “Lotus Root” on their outstanding achievement 🎊 and thank Irvine Tzu Chi Academy Principal Wan-Jen Hua, the educators, and parents for their unwavering support. Irvine Tzu Chi Academy remains committed to advancing technology education and hands-on learning to help students build skills for the future.
