TOKYO—Beneath a bright autumn sky, SGI representatives from throughout the world gathered on Nov. 15, 2025, for a solemn gongyo ceremony at the Hall of the Great Vow for Kosen-rufu marking the second anniversary and third memorial of Ikeda Sensei’s passing.
The ceremony, led by Soka Gakkai President Minoru Harada, included 270 representative leaders from 75 countries and territories, including the SGI-USA. In the same vein, SGI members around the world are chanting daimoku in their homes and communities with the spirit to advance kosen-rufu in their mentor’s stead.
In volume 30 of “The New Human Revolution,” Sensei writes that the shared struggle of mentor and disciple is the lifeline that ensures the eternal development of kosen-rufu. “Whether the flow of kosen-rufu will grow into a mighty river nourishing the world throughout the ten thousand years and more of the Latter Day of the Law depends entirely on the disciples who will carry on their mentor’s work” (pp. 118–120).
Engraving this guidance in their hearts, Sensei’s disciples throughout the world have worked hard this year to broaden the foundation of capable people.
