Cisne 🦢 is a display serif built on a tension: tightly packed vertical strokes set against large, open, near-perfect circular forms. It began as an ode to Stunt Roman, an Art Deco alphabet first appearing in the Speedball Lettering Manual of 1929. Designed by Ross F. George and known for its expressive swashes and refined curves — an alphabet made, in George’s own words: to show off.
Sproviero pushes that logic into new territory: swashes explored more deeply, serifs more pronounced, subtle ligatures appearing naturally without breaking the flow. Like a swan, it moves smoothly on the surface while holding a more complex structure underneath. As a variable font with weight and x-height axes — and a range of alternates — it offers that same depth at every size and weight. Suited to editorial and branding work that demands both presence and refinement.

Introducing Sheller Stencil! Victorian lettering and cyberpunk? You bet. The world of William Gibson’s Neuromancer felt like a good fit and sometimes you have to go with your gut. Plus it’s chock full of fun words and phrases.
Sheller Stencil is an interpretation of Victorian stenciled lettering found on agricultural machinery made by the Tiffin Agricultural Works in Tiffin, Ohio. These late 19th-century stenciled forms exhibited an unusual pattern, with some characters split at right angles and others following curvilinear breaks in line with the original Art Nouveau-inspired letterforms. Despite Sheller Stencil’s antique origins, it makes for an inspired choice for modern packaging, branding, and editorial work.

Venganza — 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀
When I attended TypeCon 2019, I went to a talk that explored curves in design and how, according to the speaker, curves were “overrated.” This statement resonated with me on many levels, as my work is inherently filled with curves. Inspired by this idea, I decided to create a new calligraphic font with almost no curves at all.
Venganza is a calligraphic Variable Font family filled with elegant flourishes and syncopated precision. Based on the Chancery script, it is an exploration in angled stems, exaggerated verticality, extreme stroke contrast, and sweeping curves. The long descenders and high-arching ascenders give the typeface a visual breathing space between tension and release, a controlled flamboyance.
Venganza is well-suited for delivering visual suspense and high drama to book covers, luxury branding, film posters, and editorial layouts.
