Reflecting on some 2022 production highlights…I had such a wonderful time directing this show, blending fact and fairytale to create a lavish spectacle full of romance and adventure!
With incredible set and lighting design by Matt Brown, Musical Direction by Jane Artelaris, Choreography by Sarah Lees & Caitlin McNulty, beautiful costumes by Krystal Meek, and a very talented company of student performers and musicians, this show was a huge challenge to stage but ultimately well worth all the grey hairs and lost sleep 😁

A year late celebrating this one, but ANYTHING GOES was an absolute delight.
A full-circle moment: directing the first show I ever saw live, now with a new generation of brilliant young performers.
This semester I stepped into a new role as Unit Coordinator of the Diploma of Musical Theatre at WAAPA. On Sunday, the 2025 cohort I’ve had the pleasure of overseeing wrapped up the year with two fantastic Showcase performances. So very proud of their hard work, growth, and artistry. Huge thanks to my brilliant colleagues, in particular @joelouismusic for his support and guidance in this role.

A little over 2 years ago I felt ready to pursue fertility treatment to start a family. Not knowing what the outcome would be and being cautiously pessimistic I was caught off guard when I conceived with relative ease and with twins no less.
None of this would have been possible without a vast and incredible army of family, friends, colleagues, doctors, nurses and random strangers alike who have backed me, helped me and shown kindness and unfailing support. The biggest thanks goes to the twins donor @tylerjacobjones_ . We are both the happy beneficiaries of a world that is a little kinder and more open to alternative family structures than previous generations have enjoyed, and for that I am eternally grateful.

First up, FROZEN JR. at Perth College, with a cast of over 200 K-6 students filling the stage at my favourite playground, the Judith Cottier Theatre. Ticket link in bio.
Then, a real change of pace as I get to dive into one of my favourite shows, CARRIE, with the 2nd Year BA Musical Theatre students at WAAPA. I can’t wait to bring this cult classic to life in the much-more-intimate Roundhouse Theatre. Tickets on sale next month.
