Now that I’m forcefully settled back home (I’m at work rn tho lol), I can say that I’m soooooo grateful for my time in Seattle!! 🥹
The show set up went so well, the actual show was so FIRE, the take down was so fast and easy…almost like we were supposed to be doing exactly what we were lol. Seattle showed us so much love!! I’ve literally never experienced folks interacting with the art like they did for Based before, so thank y’all.
Thank you to Simon & MJ for being the best hosts everrrrrrrr, thanks to CAM for hosting us, thanks to Siri for keeping me grounded & to Cherry for being my forever prom date 😂 thanks to Thomas and Keyana for FLYING OUT?? Like what lol & thanks to everyone that showed art!!!

Hey y’all!
So I’ve recently went through @sumistouch All Black doula training & have never felt more aligned and ready to start my journey as a Full Spectrum Doula! I appreciate the tools for self reflection and awareness that I don’t think I would’ve gotten from any other training or course.
With that, things are shifting & work has to be done to support the large spectrum of Black/Afrikan birthing people. Something that keeps me grounded is, “from the womb to the tomb”, because it’s essential for Black birthing people to feel safe, heard & taken care of as a vessel for Black life.
Liberating the Black body is necessary & that includes providing birth work for people with little to no access to it. Still learning, still growing, (nothing new), but I have ideas! So if you’re a Black/Afrikan Doula or Birth worker please DM me so we can work together/share some ideas!
