I ran pop’s vocals through a @neumann.berlin U87 mic, into a vintage @rupert_neve 1073 pre, then into a @uaudio 1176 compressor (which didn’t have the meter working, so I really just had to use my ears to judge the level of compression happening) but it was all good! And everything was laid out on the @solidstatelogic console. We got a super clean sound 👌

After a slower month in April, this month has been crazy.. The demand for both mixing/mastering and recording at my studio is super high. A lot of sessions are being booked and a lot of songs are being sent in. It’s safe to say the summer rush has begun..
So if you need anything mixed/mastered, please get things in to me in advance so I can meet your release dates. And if you need to get in to record with me in Toronto, just know availability is limited. I’m already booked solid for the next two weeks as of right now.
