Monday night’s finale number! This entire experience was such a necessary reminder of what lies on the other side of your comfort zone. This competition has allowed me to unlock and explore parts of my creativity that I had never really tapped into… and we took 3rd place! 🥉
Thank you @shineonhalsted for the opportunity to “morph” into different versions of Tyler each week. I had so much fun being onstage again and left each Monday with my brain spinning from inspiration after watching this cast’s interpretations of each category. Massive congrats to everyone involved, especially our winner @koda.pendants 🤩🫶🏻

The category I drew for last week’s challenge was “classic movies” and my brain immediately went to Jaws… but like what if we got to hear his side of things… during his first public appearance since the whole “incident” happened in 1975…? If I had to guess, he’d probs be singing @thechicks and @ddlovato

A cheeky glimpse into my “Cher Thrice” number for Celebrity Impersonation week @shineonhalsted ! Had a blast and a half with this one. Loved getting to show more of my silly side with the judges and audience, all while paying homage to the incomparable diva that is CHER.

Tyler is gooped to be back behind the mic! He is an Iowa City native who spent five years living in New York City bouncing in and out as a Guest Entertainer on various cruise lines. When the pandemic shut down the industry, he pivoted and relocated to Chicago with his fiancé and their dog, Effie. Tyler swapped show tunes for startups and eventually found himself fully immersed in corporate life. He went from performing nonstop (and maybe burning out a little…) to not performing at all over the past few years. Tyler is so excited to return to the stage on his own terms, and cannot think of a better place to do it than Shine on Halsted!
