After the Bonfire presents a collaborative body of work by artists Brittany Ham (@brittanyham.art ) and Justin Korver (@justincaseyourewondering ) that examines the allegorical hunt in European tapestry traditions and its historical associations with gender and power. Through tapestry, embroidery, painting, sculpture, and text-based work, the artists reimagine the trope of the hunter and prey, complicating gendered narratives of pursuit while positioning landscape as an active participant in the story.
Working together since 2018, Ham and Korver draw on the stylized pictorial language of historical hunting tapestries while reconsidering the power structures embedded within them, proposing more reciprocal relationships between humans, gender, and the natural world.

Step into a world where technology, nature, and human control collide. TXST Photography student Gabriela Moreno (@gabriela.psd ) transforms empty wildlife camera frames—once meant to capture animals—into documents of disconnection and absence.
Through digital code intervention, she erases “end of era” and replaces it with “welcome to the future,” producing fragmented, corrupted images that explore thresholds between endings and beginnings, presence and absence, control and collapse.
Experience this striking, thought-provoking digital photography project that challenges how we see, interact with, and interpret the world around us.
