Congratulations to one of our very hardworking Alum, Kaycee Swierc ‘20 (@kayceeswierc ) on being the Directing Observer in Open Jar’s workshop production of Trading Places, a new musical produced by Marc Madnick.
While there are no performance dates for this production, we are so proud of Kaycee and all the hard work she’s done in both our program and Carnegie Melon’s directing program.

Our very own Kate Glasheen (@kateglasheencoaching ), the lovely head of our program, is currently staring as Beatrice in Austin Shakespeare Company’s production of Much Ado About Nothing.
In this hilarious, witty, enemies-to-lovers, Kate performs side by side with Texas State’s beloved Nick Lawson.
This production runs from May 7th through May 24th, Thursday through Sunday at 8PM at Zilker Hillside Theatre.
