two quail run has been my primary artistic vehicle for grief meditation for nearly a decade, almost entirely within the confines of my own bedroom. Taking this weird, unwieldy, noisy project out into public spaces to finally share with others over the last few months, even in such limited quantities, has been a constructive experience to say the least. I wish you could be here to see it, but that would be a paradox for the ages. Having to do social media to promote your art feels very uncomfortable when your art is primarily about death - people generally don't want to be reminded that everything they love will eventually die.
