I’m sure there are a lot of new faces around here, so let us formally introduce ourselves. We are Taz and Reid, the brothers at Two Folk and the ones behind the lens on your wedding day 👌
From starting our journey back in 2016, the last decade has led us to where we are right now - working with the most amazing couples. Couples who are drawn to elegant, refined and detail-focused experiences whilst being grounded in the honest & meaningful moments.
The kind of couple who wants the “look” without sacrificing the “feel”. Something that doesn’t feel pretentious, but rather a true reflection of you both and what your story means to you.
Our photography and films are grounded in sharp observation balanced with a calm guidance throughout the day. Whilst we embrace a blend of a documentary & editorial style in our work, our couples are largely drawn to our ability to produce timeless imagery and cinematography.
For us, “timeless” doesn’t mean staging a particular pose or editing a photo in black and white (lol). Timeless means real. Real moments are the ones that you can look back on in decades and instantly relive the feeling.
And for us, that means everything ❤️
We are humbled you are here and following our journey. Reid and I (Taz) are incredibly excited for all the amazing people we have the pleasure of working with this year and next, and look forward to bringing you along with us ❤️
And if you have made it this far - say hi in the comments! Whether we have met or not, industry vendor, engaged couple, a past client of ours - we would love to hear from you ☺️

It’s still a little surreal sometimes that we get to do this together.
Most weekends are spent side by side - cameras in hand, quietly pointing out good light, debriefing the day on the drive home. Somewhere over the years, we’ve built this unspoken rhythm between us that makes the whole experience feel calm and seamless. We instinctively know when the other is stepping in, what moments matter, and how to move through a wedding without it ever feeling intrusive or overly “produced”.
And honestly, we think that changes the feeling of the day for our couples too. There’s a level of trust, ease and familiarity that comes from working with two people who know each other this well. It never feels like two separate creatives trying to do their own thing - it feels unified, intentional, and genuinely personal.
We don’t take it for granted getting to build this together. Two brothers, documenting stories that matter, for people who care deeply about the experience as much as the outcome.
Isabella & Jack hosted their wedding celebrations at the stunning @pasadenasydney last weekend.
This was our first wedding at this gorgeous location, so we knew we wanted to bring a fresh perspective to such an established and refined venue.
The energy on the felt effortless and intentional - which ultimately came down to the incredible family and friends that celebrated with Bella and Jack all evening. It was one of those days where we somehow felt we knew everyone in the room - so much warmth and happiness everywhere we were.
We helped Bella & Jack feel like they could be their authentic selves during portraits - which is an important part of our process. Timeless photos & film are ultimately derived from experiencing genuine and honest emotions on the day. Not a trend, nothing forced, but something real.
Thanks for allowing us to document these timeless moments for you both ❤️ @belladefina@jack_curtis1

There was a point during Zali & Eden’s day where it was just the four of us surrounded by nature while they read their vows to each other.
No guests. No music. No rush to get to the next thing.
Just two very grounded, very in-love people taking their time.
Reid and I actually ended up signing their marriage certificate as witnesses a few minutes prior, which felt like such an honour to be part of. And honestly, the whole day carried that same energy. Calm. Intentional. Present.
It’s easy for weddings to become about timelines, logistics and trying to fit everything in. But this day felt like a reminder that the real magic usually happens when people slow down enough to actually experience it all together.
A few hours later they were surrounded by 100+ people at their reception, celebrating the night away. But somehow even with all the energy and chaos of that part of the day, everything still felt deeply connected to who they are - laid back, down to earth, and completely themselves.
The gorgeous work from @krystasmith.au for Juliet and Joe’s wedding at @thejacksonranch_ . Soft, whimsical, and grounded in native textures - flannel flowers, gum foliage, and a palette of powder blue and white that felt both considered and effortless. It was one of those days where every detail spoke the same language - from the ceremony through to the reception, nothing felt separate from the whole.
One vision, carried through everything. The suspended foliage garlands, the draping, the tablescapes - each layer adding to a feeling rather than competing for attention. It’s the kind of design that doesn’t just look beautiful in photos, it shapes the way the entire day is experienced.

Your wedding day goes fast - this is how you slow it down…
It’s easy for a wedding day to become something you move through rather than something you actually feel. The timeline fills up, the energy builds, and before you know it, you’re being pulled in a hundred directions.
One of the simplest things you can do - and something we always quietly encourage - is to take a moment that’s just for the two of you. No guests, no expectations, no performance. Just a pause.
It doesn’t have to be long or perfectly planned. Sometimes it’s just a quiet pocket of time you carve out for yourselves - a short walk, a pause between moments, or something you almost forget is being photographed.
But it’s often in these pockets of stillness where everything lands - where it stops feeling like a “wedding” and starts feeling like your day again. You get to actually see each other, breathe, and take it in.
I & H - captured on still and motion film.
There are many reasons to capture our art on film and for us one stands out.
There is a kind of surrender to capture moments through an analog medium. Compared to digital we are limited by technology and chances to create our art but in that limitation we produce something new. An imperfect but authentic scene mirroring the moment itself.
Most couples don’t realise this until after the wedding, but photo & video can feel slightly out of sync.
Not in an obvious way — just small differences in how moments are approached, how things are paced, what gets prioritised.
And over the course of a whole day, that adds up.
For us, that’s never really been a factor.
We’ve grown up seeing things the same way, solving things the same way, and now we shoot weddings the same way.
It means we don’t need to constantly check in or direct each other — everything just flows in the background while you stay in the moment.
What you feel on the day is less interruption, less being pulled in different directions, and a lot more space to actually enjoy it.
And what you get afterwards feels consistent — your photos and your film carrying the same tone, the same energy, the same perspective.
It’s one of those things that’s hard to explain upfront, but very easy to feel when it’s done right.
