unfortunately with this costume limiting my mobility, i didn’t have chance to properly thank the judges on stage without bapping anyone!! so a massive, massive thank you to @kizuki.go , @blinkscoscave and @trine.k.n for your time and hard work! prejudging was so smooth and i have nothing but good things to say about the experience.

this is my first big competition win after winning a judge’s award last year, i’m still in shock over it! but a massive thank you to the judges and the dreamhack cosplay team for creating such a welcoming environment for cosplayers and for such a seamless (ha) experience.

so #sonicconuk was absolutely fantastic!!!! one of the best cons i’ve ever been to, which is incredible considering it’s also one of the smallest cons i’ve been to! the team really knocked it out of the park.
i played sonic 06 back in 2006 (i asked for an xbox 360 for christmas specifcally so i could play it). the game is abysmal dogshit, i can’t defend it, but silver was always one of the best things to come out of it and i’m so, so glad that him and those involved in his characterisation are finally getting the flowers they deserve!!!!!
it just so happens that i have three cons in a row that all require a sonic cosplay, so i ended up making sure silver was done in time for MCM london. i didn’t love how he looked (my eyebrows were bodgy and my wig wasn’t great), but i loved how i looked for sonic con. this is the first time i’ve designed and made my own cosplay and i hope i’m able to do this again some time!!!
so i think #dandadan is relevant rn?? anyway i cosplayed momo last #mcmbirmingham while hungover out of my mind but i had a good time!! i completely forgot to post pics since so much has happened since then but yeah!!

🪶 been sitting on these photos for far too long but!! i was honoured to shoot with @helloimfran at confetti fields a few weeks ago. i’ve not done a location shoot before, and despite the nuclear conditions fran did the best job of making sure we were all fed, watered and kept cool.
i’ll be at megacon manchester this weekend as sandy! this’ll be my last con until october (selfishly, mcm may was mainly spent running around and i didn’t really get to anything, but that’s my fault HAHA). this’ll be my first time going up north for a con and i can’t wait!!

went to @fanforfest on saturday as my d&d character, my storm sorcerer zinon!!!! the whole look was very thrown together because of time constraints (you can see the outfit i based this look off in the second slide. also rare appearance of my artwork!!! yippee!!!), but i ended up having a really good time.

this was from may last year. i’ll be honest, i’m not too sure why i’ve avoided reflecting on all this when i should be proud of myself for putting myself out there. to be candid, i have real difficulties being perceived by others, particularly in the context of performing. i had my first panic attack when i was 14 during a presentation at school. so when i look at what getting my ass up on stage represents, what right do i have by my 14 year old self to be embarrassed?
