Thank you to everyone who came out and made this weekend unforgettable.
To those who returned to Twilo, and to those who experienced it for the first time, we are beyond grateful. This event was over a year in the making, built with love and intention by the Twilo Events Team to honor the spirit of the original era from the mid-90s through 2001.
Our vision was to recreate that real club feeling, multiple rooms, different energies, people gathering, exploring, dancing, and fully living in the moment.
One of the most meaningful parts of the night was seeing so few cameras on the dance floor. Thank you for respecting that. Your presence, your energy, and your willingness to immerse yourselves made the experience what it was.
Pictures are great. But stories become history.
With all the love,
Twilo Events Team

a few weeks ago we had the distinct honor and pleasure of playing the Twilo reunion at the original, storied location at 530 w. 27th street, a building where we spent countless hours lost in music; the location which inspired us each to make this our life’s work 🪩
thank you to @dannytenagliaofficial@bennysoto and everyone involved for making this dream come true 🙏

The set captures the long-form progressive sound that made his residency at 530 West 27th Street a landmark moment for the underground.

Last weekend, Jeffrey Garcia Executive Director @nycnightlifegov@nycsmallbiz attended the Twilo Reunion.
The 2-day event was held at the original location of the iconic ’90s hotspot #Twilo, which reopened its doors for the first time in 25 years, giving partygoers a chance to relive the magic of the era while also celebrating NYC DJ Danny Tenaglia’s birthday.🪩✨
We helped them navigate permits + connected them w/ @outsmartnyc to ensure a fun & safe night for everyone.
Thank you @twiloevents + @dannytenagliaofficial for having us!
Even amidst NYC’s current nightlife boom, Twilo’s return is a cause for major notice.
The legendary nightlife mecca was last open in 2001 and defined a different era in NYC club culture, alongside fellow hot spots like Tunnel, Limelight, and Palladium.
@twiloevents ’s special, one weekend re-opening brought New York’s nightlife community back to the original Chelsea club for a trip down memory’s dance floor. There, former Twilo regulars, and a few curious newcomers, danced to sets by some of the club’s brightest stars — @djjohndigweed , @dannytenagliaofficial , @thecarrynation_nyc , and @bennysoto —, and re-experienced the club’s ineffable magic

Is Gen X the coolest generation? After 25 years, the legendary NYC club @twiloevents returned to Manhattan for just two nights. We caught up with some 90s clubbers last weekend to hear what nightlife was really like during the club’s heyday.
Thank you for the invite @dannytenagliaofficial and wishing you a very Happy Birthday 🎂
Such great energy in that historic room tonight. Many thanks to @twiloevents and all the faces old and new on the dance floor for making it so special 😀
