Join River Parks and Turkey Mountain for National Trails Day on Saturday, June 6th. From 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The first 300 folks recieve a free Turkey Mountian water bottle! Free guided hikes lead by Turkey Trail Team Volunteers will leave every 30 minutes from the lower lot near the restrooms and Turkey Mtn Sign, 6850 S. Elwood Ave. The last tour departs at 10 a.m.

Hikes will be approximately 3 miles and last 1.5 hours. Not recommended for those with mobility or breathing issues. There is some sections of steep grade and 100 feet (10-story building) of elevation gain.
