I’ve always participated in writing workshops but never led them, so this is a huge step for me. V excited! 😁

Hi 👋🏾 I started a critique group for black writers in Tulsa! If you’re looking for an encouraging place to receive and give real feedback or are simply interested in joining a local writers’ community, please DM me. If you know someone who may be interested, send them my way.
I started this after joining other writing groups that had plenty of lovely people, but I was often the only black face, and, for those of us who know, that gets old after a while.
We’ve met twice now and started workshopping a few pieces. You’re welcome to come if you’re not actively working on something and just want to be in community.
We meet monthly in person on the third Monday at 6:30pm weather permitting, otherwise we meet on Zoom.
Hope to hear from you 💕
