The session is open to youth ages 7-13 and is Bring Your Own Skates 🤘🏽
We will have dedicated TRC members there to help your child learn to roller skate at whatever stage they are at! And, it’s FREE!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our tent on Sunday to learn about our organization 🙌🏽 We had tons of fun talking and connecting with the community about how you can get involved in being active through roller skating 🛼

We want to make it blatantly and abundantly clear that we stand with our immigrant and undocumented communities. They are our family, our neighbors, our coworkers, our fellow skaters. We do not condone the abduction of our community members, or the senseless killing and murders of US Citizens exercising our first amendment right. A right that this administration continues to obstruct. The fascist regime of this administration has got to STOP! The violence that’s had its grip on our livelihood has to END. Safety gear is your friend when you’re skating out and about town, especially if maneuvering sidewalks and streets are not your typical terrain! Watching your surroundings, keeping your knees bent and looking forward will help you a ton! If you want to start your day at our spot or are feeling nervous, we can give you even more advice and tips for the route.
We are so excited to be a part of @cycloviatucson this year! It’s a 3 mile, car free space for all movement 🛼🚲💃🏻🛹 aka the PERFECT PLAYGROUND!! We’re lucky enough to have a deliciously smooth area to host an activity at the LSA downtown hub, shown in the video! We’ll have several quarter ramps, dance choreography, p-rails, and a couple pairs of skates to try on if you’re interested. Come and bring your wheels to join in, or just bring good vibes, we’ll be happy to offer advice and answer questions. Come get to know Tucson Roller Collective 💫🖤
