The Rossimoda Requiem
Shot in my hometown Klerksdorp where the villas and the upper class resides.
As creative lead for this range I really wanted to blend South African street flamboyance with the high level music of our Italian counterparts world.
The Requiem is an Ode to Lacrimossa.
A requiem is the style of song in the world of Choral and Opera music.
The original composition written by Mozart for the then Holy Roman Empire.
I sing “Rossimoda di ntho tsa Straata”
Rossimoda for us who come from the Streets.
