Dulux Colour Awards 2026
Colour in architecture is never just aesthetic it shapes how a space is read, felt, and remembered.
It can compress or expand, soften or sharpen, anchor or dissolve. It gives hierarchy to form and brings clarity to material.
In Imaginationation, colour became a primary tool not applied, but embedded. Used to define moments, guide movement, and create atmosphere.
Being shortlisted for the Dulux Colour Awards is a meaningful acknowledgement of that exploration.
A reminder that colour, when used with clarity, has the power to transform architecture beyond the physical.

In the @july Store Burnside space, warm cork in a square profile creates rhythm, structure, and quiet luxury underfoot. The contrasting border detail frames the interior beautifully, grounding the shelving and softening the architecture.
At Kustom Timber, we work closely with builders and designers to ensure every specification feels as considered as the space itself, supporting projects from concept through completion.

This year, @trustprojectsau introduced a brand new challenge - Kick To Win $1,500.
The level of talent was so high we couldn’t break the deadlock between three teams, so the prize money was shared.
Trust Projects also matched the prize with a donation to @ruokanyday
Safe to say the bar has been set high…we can’t wait to see what the next challenge brings ⚽️
