What a journey #Cartrek has been! It feels like it was yesterday when we were rallied up at a gas station in Florida setting out amidst a global pandemic. Weâve been coast to coast with the showâŚfilmed in insane conditions, from white blizzards on top of mountain passes to the scorching hot 120+ plus degree wastelands in Nevada. Weâve garnered hundreds of millions of views in that span, won numerous Telly awards and created friendships among the cast and crew to last a lifetime. Itâs been a wild couple of weeks. Iâve checked off some major things on my bucket list I didnât even know were on the list. I still canât believe Iâm writing this, but roadtripping in a pack of McLaren F1s to the Tail of the Dragon is a non stop pinch-me moment that still has me giddy. Doing it with 3 fantastic humans somehow supersedes the eye candy of the cars weaving through the forests..barely. Wow. Just wow. Point A to Point B is boring. The last couple of months have been 2,500 miles of dirt, ocean spray, mud, and everything in betweenâchasing the unknown and getting intentionally lost while shooting millions in cars across the Midwest. While its on-road manners are undeniably âa Jeep thing,â its sheer utility continues to surprise me, making up for any handling quirks with purpose and personality. The BMW Z8 is absolutely captivating. Easily one of my favorite cars in existence. A lot of reviewers poo-poo on the Alpina for being softer than the regular version, but I would argue that not everything has to be razor sharp to be good. As smooth and as quiet as a Cadillac, without having to look like one. Sign me up. #bmw #z8 #bmwalpina
