If you've never heard of the man, the myth, the legend Kosuke Kuji, he is the President of Nanbu Bijin Sake Brewing Company @nanbubijin_sake , he's a guest professor at the prestigious Tokyo Nodai and has gone to great lengths to support Tohoku sake throughout the years.
He stopped in San Francisco just to visit his 'international laboratory' of sake (what he calls True Sake) and to say hi to his great friend, our one and only Beau Timken.
He revealed some new brewing technology advancements which will be known to the public in due time... Keep posted to find out how Kuji-san's hard work will literally change the sake industry for years to come.

We are elated to welcome Satoshi Nishio, Sales Manager of the iconic Marumoto Brewery for a tasting this Saturday 5/9 from 2-4pm! 🤩🍶
Marumoto Brewery is famous for their brands Chikurin and Hou Hou Shu. They are also reknowned for practicing organic farminng which is very rare in Japan. Before joining the brewery, Satoshi Nishio ran a local restaurant and served as President of a hunting club, while also practicing natural beekeeping and natural farming. A hands-on craftsman at heart, Satoshi personally renovated a 100-year-old traditional house over two years, transforming it into a shop, an experience that ultimately led him to pursue work in sake brewing using his hands. 👉 Meet Satoshi this Saturday and taste three special sake that show the breadth of their incredible production!
