Nature Calling 🌿
TripleDotMakers produced a series of documentary films charting the development of each major art commission within the National Landscapes programme.
The series follows communities, writers, and artists as they shape new creative responses to some of the UK’s most distinctive National Landscapes.
Commissioned by the National Landscape Association with Creative Executive Producers Activate Performing Arts, the programme brought together six major art projects and a further 18 community‑led commissions. The films reveal how local voices, place‑based stories, and artistic experimentation informed each work.
This is our trailer for Nature Calling, showcasing highlights from the main film. The trailer moves through artworks, landscapes, and community moments from across the National Landscapes programme, offering a first look at the creative projects, locations, and people featured in the full documentary series.

To get in the spooky spirit we thought we’d share our shots of the Inlaid Chamber at Sizergh Castle. Built in 1585 the chamber holds over 400 years of history, and inspired Letitia Landon’s eerie poem ‘The Queens Room’.
