Happy Saturday y'all! These warmer days have really been a breath of fresh air, and we have a special afternoon in the works to kick off your Memorial Day weekend in a few weeks' time. We're so stoked to bring Gezeiten - our North German pilsner back into the fold, so why not make something of its release? We'll be tapping the stichfaß at noon for that traditional gravity dispense we all desire. And we're pleased to welcome @beefhaus207 for their inaugural pop-up at the brewery.
Whether you're passing through on your way up north for the long weekend, or simply hanging out for a few hours with friends and family, Friday the 22nd should help set the tone for what's ahead of us for the summer. I can't understate the excitement of crushing some quality dogs (or meatball subs, if that's your thing) with a freshly packaged crisp and bitingly bitter pilsner. Yessah!!
News & Brews is heading south! We cannot wait to come to Kittery next week, Thursday, May 14, 2026 at @tributarybrewing .
Come up with a fun trivia name and register your team today at the link in our bio. We hope to see you there!
Made in Maine: il giorno dopo.

Made in Maine: The Day After.
We couldn't be more pleased with the success of the three-day event that just concluded.
We're taking home a lot of physical exhaustion, but above all, our spirits are filled with joy and satisfaction. Your extraordinary participation, the fantastic atmosphere, the high-quality workshops, the beers arriving from Maine in tip-top shape and fresh, as well as the enthusiastic feedback from our American guests: all of this confirms that "Made in Maine" was an event we will remember for a long time. And that gives us immense energy.
A special thanks to Tod Mott (along with Galen and Emy), Kevin, Kuaska, Anna, Pier, Sabrina, Gabriele, and Erika.
But above all, a huge thanks to Tim Adams for his collaboration and fundamental support in bringing this beautiful adventure to life.
Great day last weekend at @tributarybrewing in Kittery Maine with Woody , Kelsey, and the baby!
Got to meet @sacredprofanebrewing , one of my favorite brewers.

Coming back from the @brewersassoc Craft Brewers Conference this week refreshed and with some big wins for Maine beer 🍻
Huge congratulations to @allagashbrewing and @orangebikebrewing for taking home medals at the World Beer Cup — recognizing their respective excellence in Belgian-style ales and pushing the boundaries of gluten-free brewing. From the witbiers we've been enjoying for more than 30 years, to the cutting edge new methods behind a gluten free Guava sour ale, more than ever we know that craft, technical precision, and an unwavering commitment to quality is what Maine does best.
We’re also incredibly proud to celebrate our own Tod Mott in receiving the Russell Schehrer Award for Innovation in Craft Brewing: from developing Harpoon IPA to creating truly legendary Russian Imperial Stouts, to the co-founding @tributarybrewing and mentoring generations of brewers, Tod’s impact on American craft beer in Maine and beyond is undeniable. His career has been defined by creativity, leadership, generosity and a willingness to push the industry forward. As he prepares to retire after 35 years and hand the reins to his son Woody Mott, this recognition couldn’t be more well deserved.
Here’s to Maine beer-- past, present, and future. 🌲🍺

We’re putting the finishing touches on the ol’ bottles, which means we are ready to go for Saturday. The forecast is looking stellar, so grab your friends and loved ones and get your butts to Kittery!
Feast your eyes on the newest addition to our pantheon of bocks and welcome Brennenator - an exquisite take on the classic Maibock with a modest inclusion of maple and alderwood smoked malt from none other than @blueoxmalthouse . Conceived and brewed meticulously and laboriously with the illustrious Mike from @candiaroadbrewingco , the Brennenator has quickly become favorites in both of our tasting rooms.
As an aside, I desperately wanted to call this Burninator after everyone’s favorite dragon, Trogdor. Alas, there’s too many Burninators to count already released here in the States! So, brennen, the German verb for ‘to burn’ was our best logical choice. This one’s for you Strongbad. Prost!
One thing is for sure, a Tributary + Moniker collab will always be entertaining 🍻
Got the chance to head back up to Kittery, Maine before the new year to brew this beautiful oyster schwarzbier with our best pals at @tributarybrewing 👏 right alongside the incredible @jolie_rogers_ who very kindly shucked us all about a million oysters 🦪
Say hello to Schäler Oyster Schwarzbier✨On draft at Tributary now! Guess we’ll have to do this again down in the Ocean State 👀

Oh boy, here we go! Spring Release of Mott is about ready for its time to shine, so mark your calendars for the 25th of this month. Incredible food coming in from @jolie_rogers_ and @mrsippybbq to ensure we're satiated as we enjoy this release of our black elixir.
Featuring applewood rye, tawny port, brown sugar rum and *new to us* Japanese plum wine this rendition scratches a lot of itches, and frankly, it's drinking damn fine. No better time either, as Tod and Galen will be returning from CBC down in Philly as he receives his achievement for indelibly revolutionizing American craft beer. We're super proud of him, and this MTL release will be a great way to enjoy a beer with the big guy himself and say "nice job!".
Anyways, stoked for this one to say the least, so we'll see you there!
Cheers!
🍻 CHEERS TO NATIONAL BEER DAY
Craft beer is about more than what’s in the glass— it’s about connection, authenticity, and community.
Across Maine, breweries have become essential “third spaces”: places to gather outside of home and work, to share good company and conversation. And with spring finally here, there’s no better time to come together and enjoy a Maine-made beer the way it should be.
Whether it’s a hazy IPA, a crisp continental lager, a classic pub ale, a gluten-free option, or a non-alcoholic selection— there’s something for everyone at Maine breweries and we heartily invite you to join us today in raising a glass to our hometown taprooms and makers both small and large across the state:
Here’s to the people, the places, and the purpose behind every pint. #mainebrewersguild #mainebreweries #mainebeer #mainecraftbeer
