Complete mind melt. I’ve had the great honor of getting to play and record with Elizabeth Cook for last year or so. It has been a privilege and a pleasure to see some of these amazing songs through the birth canal that is recording and out into the world. Last night I got to support her at the John pride tribute with John’s band. We saying one of Liz’s new tunes, Sunset, Promenade which is amazing and on her new record! they kept me up for paradise which is the first John Prine song I ever heard which forever changed my life. Getting to sing that song with Liz and John’s band is reason enough to stay in this river of music we have found ourselves in. very grateful. Thanks @elizabethcookforsheriff for having me up and thanks to @john_prine ‘s band for being so kind and for all the years of great music that has kept my feet on the ground.
