We left the carbon and disc brakes at home, in lieu of steel, cantilever, and 7spd rear mech. After missing the cutoff last year, he was determined to never let that happen again, but to do that, you had to shut up, pedal, and hold on. Right off the tail of Ice Weasels was the closing race to the CT Series Of Cross, the Governor’s Guard Rodeo. In following with the trend for this year there was rain. Belltown CX 2023 was epic! The @stage1cycling team always puts together a killer course. I had a comfortable lead for over two laps until I took an end over end tumble that put me in second. The Wolfpack made the trip to Beverly for the @granprixbeverly CX race. The beach run destroys me, but I felt great on the course, aside from that. I even lead a lap. But the real star of the day was @wolfstansson with his 4th place finish! I’m happy with my 10th, even if I lost 9th by half a wheel at the line.
