If I’ve talked to you at all this year you’ve probably heard me talk about this project and how excited I was for it.
I can go on forever- but this is for everyone who has poured love into us and this work before it even hit platforms. This is for my niggas and the artist in my city who persist, showing up in these uncertain times to create, and make someone feel something.
I’m inspired by y’all more than you can ever know and I just hope to give back an ounce of the feeling that was given to me.

Man from meeting Jelil and Tre this summer at @daventevent to Boxville to experiencing this project firsthand before the release, it’s all been super inspiring to my creative processes lately. Before moving into the new project I felt it was imperative for this song to be brought to life. Given the age we’re in, it’s easy to dismiss and look for what’s next, but this project and this song have given me so much- it’s been a foundation for my artistry, and it became a personal safe place as I discover more about myself.
I’m less interested with the politics and external forces when it comes to music and I do this because I love it, so in whatever way you’ve supported me along the way just know I appreciate it immensely.
