ECHOES FESTIVAL PRESENTS: @treebeard.band performing Saturday, May 9 @rhinoroomsa & @lowlifebar Tickets on sale now: [www.echoesfest.live] Cathartic Post-Rock // Post-metal from Melbourne, Australia. Drawing from post rock, post metal, prog & shoegaze, Treebeard's music involves lengthy & dynamic songs, ranging from the peaceful and emotive, to the destructive and furious. The band released their debut album 'NOSTALGIA' in 2021, garnering praise for its fresh approach to the genre, as well as its potent sense of atmosphere. In 2024, Treebeard released their follow-up "SNOWMAN", another epic concept album but with a much heavier and emotionally cathartic approach. 'Snowman', alongside their debut 'Nostalgia', was treated to a vinyl release by Dunk Records in Belgium. Since their formation in 2019, Treebeard have gone strength to strength, signing with legendary label Bird's Robe Records in 2023 and Full Contact Safari Records in 2024. They've also shared the stage with staple bands of the genre, including Russian Circles, Tangled Thoughts of Leaving, Solkyri, We Lost The Sea, hubris and God Is An Astronaut. Treebeard also joined the 2025 edition of Dunk Festival in Ghent, Belgium, headlined by Mogwai, Cult of Luna & Year Of No Light, receiving an emphatic response and further establishing their presence as a leading force in the next generation of post music.

We cannot even fathom yesterday ❤️ Performing @dunkfestival was one of the most incredible experiences, not just in our time playing music together, but in our entire lives. We will never forget it. From the bottom of our hearts thank you so much to every person who came down early to see us. Thank you to everyone who came and said hi after the show and who supported us by buying merch (WHICH WE SOLD OUT ❤️) Final thanks has to go to the incredible people @dunkfestival & @dunkrecords who have fostered a beautiful community of fans and artists not just in Europe but all around the world. Big props also to all the other bands on the line up, you all killed it. We’re still on such a high that sleeping on our long flight home is going to be even more of struggle.
