This record celebrates the variety and beauty of life on Earth. It focuses on the inner worlds of other animals, encouraging empathy and reflection.
The title is a nod to Alex the African grey parrot, the subject of a famous avian intelligence study. On the night he died, the story goes that last thing he said to his handler was: “You be good, I love you.”

Hell of a week for post-rock and post-metal coming through here, and this is one of the gems we wanted to put in front of you today.
Sagor Som Leder Mot Slutet — Swedish four-piece, instrumental, running since 2014. Three sold-out albums produced by Magnus Lindberg of Cult of Luna behind them, and now their fourth — "IV" — out April 24 via Dunk!Records and A Thousand Arms. Mixed this time by Piotr Turek of Telepathy, mastered by Machine.
This one goes heavier than anything they've done. Different tunings, crushing rhythmic weight, the band pulling inspiration from the magmatic core, bedrock, mountainscapes — the heaviest parts of the world as we know it. But the fragility's still in there. The Nordic melancholy, the cinematic stretches, the closing track that ends the chapter the way they always do — on loss, on parting.
Their name translates to "Tales that lead to the end." Listen to "Rot". Trust us on this one.
