Hi everyone! Get to know the performers and the bands that will be at my event this May 16th.🤡🪩✨ @homeagain_la started as an indie project to bring back the nostalgic sound of the LA indie rock scene from the 2010s. The band is now a group of friends who all bring their own influences and styles. 🎇🎤 @stkioofficial [pronounced saint key-OH], also known as Nicole Bandoquillo, is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist, composer, and artist based in Southern California. Their genre-fluid sound merges pop, shoegaze, post-punk, new wave, grunge, and noise rock. St. Kio has performed at acclaimed venues such as The Echo, The Fox Theater, The Paramount, and The Moroccan Lounge, delivering high-impact sets that showcase her sonic versatility and commanding presence. 🎆🥁 @astraljubilee is a genre-blending band known for crafting immersive, otherworldly soundscapes that fuse elements of Latin, psychedelia, world music, and beyond. Their sound features shimmering guitars, layered drum textures, and introspective lyrics that explore themes of wonder, human connection, and emotional transformation.🌠🎶 Silvatito the clown @el.payazon is a 2nd generation clown from Mexico to LA. He has been a clown since he was 5 years old, and began juggling at the age of 8. Because of this, his passion is to fill everyone’s hearts and bring smiles to their faces. His hobbies are doing street performances and giving back to the community.🤹‍♂️🤡 Baby Baby Clowns @treearttalks @maddiemutations @youngtseng.work are a silly, goofy, free-spirited group of friends that like to clown around. An expression movement that embodies inner child, wonder, and laughter. 🎭 Here’s your chance to dress up in May!🧚🤡🎠🤹🎪 Video collaboration with @jamin @unl.rn video editing by the talented @unl.rn 📹✨ $15 @ the door DM for the address #treetreeshowNPU #treearttalks

Spotlight on Filipino Chinese American artist Tree Art Talks artwork for #thejoyoffoodartshow on view at Leanna Lins Wonderland thru May 16th! Bowl of Magical Pho acrylic marker on shrinky dink “A bowl of pho to me represents comforting the soul/spirit , togetherness and resilience. When I eat pho I feel it's so comforting because its hot flavorful broth soothes my body. I love pho with brisket meat , veggies and lime. I usually crave pho when the weather is chilly or when I am under the weather. Pho is magical. I feel better after eating it. For Vietnamese people, a bowl of pho is a magical embodiment of comfort, national identity, and cultural resilience that brings people together. Also, it is a taste of memory, comfort, and nostalgia.” Orange You Glad You Got Vitamin C? air-dry clay, mod podge, gloss & dimensional magic “ sun gives us Vitamin D, whereas oranges give us vitamin C, both are essential nutrients. In many Asian cultures, oranges symbolize wealth, good luck, warmth, and joy, so many households either have oranges in bowls as a centerpiece, for the altar, or given as a gift to spread blessings to others. Growing up, I was told that oranges are essential nutrients especially, when you need an energy boost or if you are feeling sick, oranges help you recover and heal the body, mind, and spirit.” #aapiheritagemonth #aapiartist #foodart #asianfood #vietnamesefood @leannalinswonderland @treearttalks @tre3art @allthingswillbe

Who grew up with Little Bear? 🧸🦆🦉🐸🐈‍⬛One of the projects I created in my illustration class. 2/25/15 (11 years ago😃 )! I forgot what was the prompt, but this piece is very nostalgic. Little Bear, I remembered it was about friendships, exploring, enjoying the simple things, and having a big imagination. ☁️✨ Forgot the exact size. #treearttalks #littlebear

Recently, I had a conversation with a friend. They brought up art and mentioned that being an artist as a profession is unusual. Particularly, being a vendor . To some people, being an artist is not a realistic profession. I asked them, “What is normal?” In my world, art is really for people like me. Art chose me. I reflected on my lived experiences as a person with a disability, and I come to know that art is something that breaks the barriers of systematic oppression. Art gives me access to work, allows me to be independent, and allows me to have a small business. I have struggled for years to earn a stable income. I am still struggling. Unfortunately, it’s the reality for me ,and for many others in this world. 🌎 Slide2: I created this artwork around the year 2013. During that time, I discovered one of my art styles, and I made a lot of art with faces. My art back then represents “wanting to be seen & being seen.” Now that I am older, I realized that being me is already enough to be unique. We all want to be seen. We are all unique.✨💖 By the way, if any of you would like to support me and buy my art ,or make a donation, that would be great! I have goals I want to accomplish this year. PS: I am planning to have new stickers that are limited edition, so keep an eye out so you can snatch them up. I can mail my stickers to you. My Venmo is Tree-Art-1 Thank you in advance!🫶🏼 A heads up, I am not planning to do a lot of art vending this February and March. Or not do art vending for those months . We’ll see. It’s actually a lot of labor for me. Plus, it’s a risk , depending what area and if there’s a vendor fee. I would rather sell art here and focus on other things. Thanks for checking out my art!🎨 #artislife #artchoseme #systemicoppressionisreal #supportlocalartists #supportsmallbusinesses

New Prints Are Available! ✨🎨 Limited Edition Art Prints: Taro the Cat & Nap Time Hi everyone! You’re invited 💫 This January 2nd, (most likely going be postponed to January 16th due to rain ) I’ll be vending at Night Bazaar DTLA, and it’ll be my first time art vending at this event—I’m so excited to share my work with you! 🕗 8 PM – 12 AM 📍 1040 S Los Angeles St #18, Los Angeles, CA 90015 The night market will feature vintage fashion, handmade crafts, jewelry, art, food, and music 🎶 🖼️ Available Artwork (Limited Quantities) ✨ “Nap Time” – 10 x 8 inches Only 6 prints available -1framed print -A reinterpretation of Picasso’s Le Rêve, painted in 2017. -I renamed it Nap Time because it felt more fitting. -Skin tones are painted more realistically, with rich colors, texture, and a whimsical feel. -While I admire Picasso’s artistic influence, learning about his abuse toward women has been disappointing. This piece reflects my love for the art itself, while honoring a softer, more thoughtful perspective. 🐱 “Taro the Cat” – 7 x 5 inches Only 10 prints available! 💛 Stickers: “You Are Doing Enough” cat stickers are also available 🐾 I’d love to see you there and say hello! 😃 Thank you for all the support ✨
