New installation @dcpubliclibrary across the city! I designed these kiosks last year w/ changing panels for @nationalbuildingmuseum ’s Building Stories exhibition, featuring a snapshot of a day in DC 👷🏾♀️📚🛠️
The story changes as you flip the panels, and you’ll even catch my cat in there 🐈⬛👀 This was sooo fun to work on! You can see them in person at the locations on the map 🗺️ We’ll be announcing free programming soon!

In 2023 @nasa invited me to a private visit to the @airandspacemuseum to meet + hear from the @nasaartemis astronauts ahead of their training for their mission to the moon 🚀🌕 it was such an amazing experience, stemming from my work with NASA in 2021 to illustrate a portrait celebrating the renaming of the DC HQ after their first black female engineer, Mary W. Jackson. I spoke at the headquarters about the piece, and had the honor of presenting it to the Jackson family - to call it a dream project is an understatement!
What I love about space, and why it shows up so much in my work, is the endless possibilities and message of unity for us here on Earth. Congratulations to @astro_christina@astrovicglover@astro_reid@astrojeremy on your monumental mission and return! Thank you for the powerful hope and inspiration 🙏🏾
