*FUTURE TABBY EDITING IN: hi gang - we reached the original target only for a huge and unexpected bill to drop in so i’ve had to up the target, im so sorry and i’m so stressed but please keep sharing if you can!!*
Hello dear transexuals and allies.
First of all - if you’re a transexual reading this, bugger off. This isn’t for you - we all support each other as much as we can already and if you don’t have an actual ‘disposable income’ please don’t donate!
Ok allies, now its just you and me:
After three years of waiting, I finally got the call. I’m getting a designer pussy! Huge, life-changing, beautiful news… with just five weeks’ notice. Which means I now have 4 weeks until surgery, and then ten full weeks where I’m under strict doctor’s orders to “rest” (aka no working, no overdoing it, no stress — though I’ll probably still be tweeting nonsense from bed).
The thing is: life doesn’t pause while I heal. My mortgage, my service charge, my ground rent, my bill all need paying, then add in groceries and taxis to and from the hospital and things really start to pile up. My living costs add up to about £1,300 a month.
So across 10 weeks, maths girlies: that’s £3,250.
If you know of me at all, you’ll know that I usually spend my time hustling for the community. Over the past few years I’ve helped raise money for London Trans Pride, The Outside Project, and Gendered Intelligence, as well as running commissioning schemes for trans writers and mentoring young trans artists, and hiring hundreds of trans folk to work on my plays across the years. I love supporting the (guys and) dolls — it’s what keeps me going, but asking for help for myself feels very different (and honestly, quite overwhelming), and honestly a bit ashamed - but that’s for me to work through with my therapist (who ill also need paying!)
Anything you can give will help me cover these weeks of recovery and give me the peace of mind to just heal. Even a fiver means so much. And if you can’t donate, sharing this page is also a huge gift.
From the bottom of my very transexual cold black heart: thank you. For real.
Love,
Tabby
💖💚 TRANS WICKED?!! 💖💚
(1/2) I’m as attached to @wickedmovie@wickeduk as every theatre gay is but - and I might be biased here - @transwicked and every single gorgeous person who worked on it - truly changed us all 💖 For Good. 💚Literally - we raised £2.6k for @londontranspride !!!! 🤩👏😭🏳️⚧️
I was absolutely honoured to step back into my MUA days to take on the totally-not-intimidating task of beautifying our… 💖🫧G(a)LINDA!!! 🫧💖 but luckily when you cast the most Glinda-looking real-life princess around - I love you deeply Ari, but there’s another 3-lettered queen beginning with A in town - the one and only @anthony.lexa 🥹💖 - it becomes the easiest job in the world… I could have dunked Ant’s face in tarmac and she’d still shine the way only a Glinda can - so swipe for pure Glinda Goodness ✨ but PLEASE scroll for part 2 bc my love for our beaut cast & crew cannot be contained in 1 post and nothing happened on/off stage without them 🥹
I went for a fairly sheer glowy blushy base, pink (obvs) blown out shimmery shadow, with some stunning bubble-adjacent pink/blue shifting glitter from @slayfirecosmetics on the lids and blended it out on the brow bone, and on the cheek. We chose a pink-ish neutral soft lip with more bubbles tapped over the top to tie in the various different beautiful shades of pink our equally beaut styling team @vivid_hum@styling_gaze (more on them in pt 2!) chose for our Pink Princess 💖. I finished off the look with some feathery lashes to add that extra level of glam (because what Glinda is going to find themselves without a decent lash, come on now) & I extended the lower lashline to create the illusion of the false lashes’s ‘shadow’ - as I think Glinda as a devoted student of glamour would be partial to this old Hollywood trick 🌟 with huge thanks to @makeuprevolution for sponsoring us (!!)
(Also to the eagle eyed amongst you - yes that is indeed my Glinda cape I wore to do my silly little Glinda bit in last October for @babylonburlesque only now she’s on a proper stage being used by a proper Glinda and honestly the cape and I couldn’t be happier 😭)

Thank you SO much to everyone who showed out, bought merch and tombola tix, and gave us the most magical night of transified Oz!!! 💚
And of course a huge thanks to the massive creative team and cast, some of whom gave their time totally for free! We love you all.
We truly are Unlimited. ✨

It’s always nice when you get to take some nice photos, it’s not something i get to do very often - especially on my busiest nights, so a huge thanks to @theclaphamgrand and @jenny_graphic for taking these gorgeous character shots of me as Ozma just before @transwicked .
This was originally meant to be my wedding dress but then… life happened & all these years later it was a joy to wear it (styled by @styling_gaze , with make up by @jadesoar and headpiece by @vivid_hum ) surrounded by my chosen family & the community that has kept me alive during all that ‘life happens’ stuff.
My work hasn’t been very joyful lately - don’t get me wrong, i’ve enjoyed making it - but when responding to the world around me my work hasn’t been full of rage & despair, so to work on @transwicked and make something so joyful was a reminded of who i used to be, and even who i might be again if the UK government ever get off our backs.
This was the worlds first all trans production of wicked, we filled a huge victorian musical hall, we flew Elphie during defying Gravity, we had confetti cannons and tears and joy and rage and i will never fucking forget it.
This might be the first Pride season where i’ve actually felt proud?
Wicked got totally swankified, galindafied and - of course - TRANSIFIED this weekend 💫
Congratulations to everyone involved & thank you for festivating with us as we transformed the Clapham Grand into the Ozdust Ballroom! So scanalacious & thrillifying 💚
… Okay, we’ll close the Ozian Glossararium now before we get stuck talking like this 👀

Featuring:
@tabbytslur as Ozma, holding our adorable monkey played by goodest boy, Dunkan.
@crayolathequeen as Boq, seen here making my day & them breaking my heart. I couldn't have asked for a sweeter or more supportive scene partner!
For those unaware, I am an ambulant wheelchair user. I can stand and take a few steps. I'm just not very good at it, it's hard, it's unreliable, and crucially it's unsafe.
Thanks to @styling_gaze@theclaphamgrand@bluromantic and everyone else invoiced xx
