More than ever it’s important we fight for a whole new system, one where our rights can’t be taken away on a whim by bigoted members of a ruling class that benefits from that very same oppression.
We need a system where the working and oppressed people are in charge, where the needs of people are put ahead of concern for profits, a system where our rights are baked into the bricks that build it, not tacked on as an afterthought. That system is called socialism, and it’s the only way we can secure a future for the people and for the planet.

🚨 LISTEN UP FOR TRANS YOUTH MEDICAL ACCESS 🚨
This weekend, the @pasmeeting by Pediatric Academic Societies is hosting a large annual panel of academic/clinical speakers in Boston, and the ONLY panel related to GAC for youth is led by a group associated and promoted by known hate group SEGM.
No other researchers doing legitimate studies was confirmed to speak.
@protecttransfutures is leading a picket day on Sunday, the same day these SEGM-speakers are set to talk, during the morning hours.
Please spread the word and attend if you can. If you can, also please bring food, water, masks, sign-making materials, and backup gear for possible rain.
And follow Protect Trans Futures for Boston action if you already don’t!
At TUC, not only are we trans-led, but we lived the same childhood experiences as those being targeted now. We know (real!) science is on our side because we have empathy for when all other groups of people have been attacked by pseudoscience. The same bigots who say GAC is medically risky or insufficient for trans youth ignore the same “concerns” for cis youth who it was made for originally. That is clearly unfounded and unethical discrimination. And to those out there impacted by it, we not only see you but we have been in your shoes and you will survive the haters because we did too.
This is not one of our funnier videos, but that’s because what is being done to our LGBTQ+ family in Tennessee, and across much of this country, is disgusting — and even more disgusting are the pathetic little troglodytes causing the harm.
Gov @govbilllee and his hordes think they can destroy the joy of the queer community by changing Pride Month to Nuclear Family Month in TN. Obviously he and our Republican supermajority could’ve chosen any other month to do so, but remember, cruelty is the point. That is their brand of Christianity. Well, let them have their “Nuclear Family Month” — it sounds like a seasonless casserole potluck in a beige-painted room to us, and they can have it. 💤😴
Here at My Cluck Hut, we celebrate love of all kinds, no matter the family dynamic — but in June specifically, it is time for our queer family to shine and know that they belong, not only in our city, but in our beautiful state. Let the boomer bigots have their death rattle as their sad and pathetic ideologies sizzle out. There are plenty of people and businesses like us who are riding forward without their permission. Recently we’ve been seeing a possibly coordinated uptick in online haters. Our stance has and always will be: don’t let them waste your valuable time, mental health, and focus. They win when they capture your attention and engagement. But they will always be losers so long as they spread hate and ignorance.

We stand with the trans community around the world today as pending threats were made by the U.S. President.
It is unacceptable for the representative of a nation to make dire threats as a bargaining tool.
America is losing its core values to conservative partisan pressure, and this is creating lasting harm home and abroad.
America is NOT first, and every day we fall further behind. We all share one planet and we must restore peace diplomatically. Not by bullying others, as this administration is so eager to do.
