The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) just proposed a rule change that would roll back protections for trans people seeking federally funded housing resources. If implemented, the rule change would have a major impact on trans and intersex people, and undermine existing anti-discrimination regulations.
There is still time to fight back! TODAY is the first day of a 60-day comment period. During this period, the federal government is required to collect comments from the public. You can tell HUD NOW to REJECT this harmful rule change and to protect the Equal Access Rule.
