The accelerator, funded by Creative Wales, was designed to support gaming founders where it matters most, from business modelling and user research to market sizing, revenue planning, and pitch refinement.

Delivered by Melissa Webster, Senior Lecturer in Managerial Communication at MIT Sloan School of Management and in partnership with Business Wales.

This exclusive executive masterclass gave SME leaders and AI champions a front-row seat to one of the most significant shifts in modern business!

Our MSc Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine students recently stepped out of the lab and into the world of entrepreneurship as they delivered their business pitches for the âFuturetech: From Lab to Marketâ module đ§ŞâĄđź
This challenges students to explore how cuttingâedge science can become realâworld innovations by developing their own science-based startup concepts đĄ
Workshops and mentoring sessions with the likes of Barclays Eagle Labs, Tramshed Tech, the Development Bank of Wales, and Cardiff Universityâs Startup & Enterprise Team help them build skills in communication, pitching, and translating complex science for investors.
The experience culminates in a live investmentâstyle pitch to a panel of programme leads, Barclays Startup Ecosystem Managers, and academic and industry experts đđŹ
Experiences like this help students prepare for careers in biotech, healthcare innovation, startups, and research translation!
