For our One Moment campaign, photographer Sebastian Trägner, also known as Traegi, traveled to the remote mountain village of Laiban in the Philippines.
Together with Art Meets Education, he gave local children the camera as a tool to share their own world.
“Often the most powerful images emerge when you simply accept the moment as it is.”
His One Moment captures Fatima by the water — a quiet scene where photography becomes a bridge between inner and outer worlds, between generations and cultures.
Read the full interview and see how Traegi turns quiet moments into powerful visual narratives.

After many years of self employment in photography, I just started a new way as the project manager here in the lab in Düsseldorf 😍 . For sure photography will be a big part furthermore! But I can’t wait to create lots of beautiful things together with the analogue community!
There’s a kind of freedom you only find far away from everything.
And once you feel it,
nothing else comes close.
No noise. No safety.
Just you, the land and the weight you carry.
Everything on film. 35, 120 and 4x5.
Left Joshua Tree at around 5am. Chased the dark through the desert until it turned into light.
Spent sunrise here alone. No sound, no movement.

Frames of Laiban. Deep in the jungle of the Philippines! Another year of working with the kids…spending time together. Getting introduced to nature in its purest forms.
