My journey to "BUDS ON THE MOVE" began earlier this summer when I started making choreography for "I'm Free". I've been dreaming of hosting consumption events in St. Louis ever since I helped host a 200-person Danksgiving event a few years back, and my dream finally came true on September 7, 2024.
As an individual who can't and doesn't enjoy drinking alcohol, it was an absolute trip thinking about hosting my dream alcohol-free event with seltzers, edibles and non-alcoholic beverages! On top of the plant-based experience, the main draw of the event would be learning choreography at YES HONEY!
I slowly started planting the seeds for an event to happen and found my idea: I wanted my own choreography to be taught in a @yeshoney.studio
format, and I specifically wanted @withanneka to help make it happen! While I choreographed most of the routine, Anneka smoothed out the details and added moves I just couldn't figure out myself. The amount of character and personality infused in the choreography makes me extremely proud of our hard work. 💖 It was an absolute honor collaborating with you on the choreo and the event!!
My next goal: I would love to discuss hosting a special class and teaching this choreography to even more people if this is received well! Whaddya think, @yeshoney.studio ? 😘
Note to @parishilton : I have been absolutely obsessed with "I'm Free" all summer and I'm pretty sure I'm one of the top listeners on Spotify because of how much I've been streaming it. When you or one of your staff replied to my YouTube comment about tagging you in the choreography, it was such an honor to feel seen even if just for a moment. I really hope you love this choreography, and I'd love to talk with you about the community that helped make this happen!

To all of you, I'm truly humbled by the love and support yall have been sending my way after my unfortunate circumstances in the past two months. My health and finances have held me back from thriving and following my dreams, but it's about time to take my life back.
I've also been missing going to dance classes at YES HONEY... very soon I'm gonna make my comeback. I miss all of my dance friends so much, you all have been so sweet reaching out to me, thank you for making me feel seen and remembered 🥺💖

"My Journey to Improve Myself like a K-Pop Idol"
Dealing with rejection and change always sucks, so I'm starting a new series thanks to a friend on TikTok. Being perfect is impossible, and I need to learn how to love myself consistently and on a daily basis. Improving my skills every day seems like a good start.
I've been a K-Pop fan for 14+ years now. While there are plenty of criticisms I have regarding the industry, it has evolved the way I view myself as a performer. Being honest with myself about my weaknesses, but also learning how to improve them. Finding my strengths, and learning how they make me special.
Inspired by Carat_Music on TikTok, I decided that with the time I have for 7 days, I'm going to improve myself for a week and see how the journey goes. Whether it's singing in Korean, learning to emote while I dance, or maybe even eating healthier... who knows what I'll get into these next 7 days?
