If there’s one thing I’m carrying with me into the new year, it’s Becca & Graeme energy.
Let me explain real quick. 😍
Their wedding day was full of unforgettable moments, but there’s one that lives rent-free in my head. During the reception, Becca slipped into her second dress, came up the stairs to a very wow’d Graeme, and they opened up the dance floor like pros. I did my usual photographer check-in when she stepped away for a second to ask about extended family photos. She took a sip of her drink, looked at me, laughed, and said, “Uh Emily… I just want to dance.” And that’s exactly what she did.
And honestly? Iconic.
That’s the energy I want for 2026. A little less hyper-fixating on timelines. A little more living in the moment. More laughter, more joy, more letting things unfold as they’re meant to. Life is short but it’s beautiful, and the magic usually shows up when we’re not trying to control every second.
