🍄 A massive thanks to all the artists and hunters who joined me last week to play Game Of Shrooms! 🍄
Our Sydney crew included 12 artists who contributed over 25 pieces of mushroom-inspired art for anyone to find and keep! Just for fun! Every single artwork found a new home by the end of the day! Everyone kept it creative and weird, as it should be.
It was a treat getting to meet so many new people and to spy on all the mushroom hunters roaming around Prince Alfred Park.
The next Game Of Shrooms is Saturday, June 13th, 2026 👀 🍄

Dispatches from the last of my “on sabbatical” sketch books. This one covers traveling to Hong Kong and hanging around Sydney. A mix of people, places and other little creatures 🐟
A6 sketches using a mix of micron pen and copic marker ✍️
Turning weird little guys into stickers is one of life’s great joys! I haven’t made new stickers in a while so I thought I’d go all out. This sticker set includes:
- A giant flying mushroom 🍄
- Two space guys with jobs 🪐⚒️
- A giant squid who loves beautiful women 🦑
- A ghost masseur 👻
They look just like they do in the original pen and watercolor comic illustrations. Thanks @radstickers 🤘

Oh would you look at that! New Touching Doodles’ stickers! These are special effect stickers for a special occasion - Touching Doodles’ Belated 10th Birthday (was technically last year 🫢)
If you take a peak at my online store you might also see some other new stickers featuring more of my weird little guys 👹
A big shoutout to @radstickers 👌🏼
“Ghost Masseur” - A comic about a ghost trying to run a massage parlour 👻 💆♀️
I learnt during the process of making this comic that a male masseuse used to be called a masseur. This little guy would’ve first got stuck in purgatory long before “massage therapist” was a thing.
Made with coloured inks, pen and pencil ✏️
A cardboard cutout illustration of a weird burger monster. This one took a long time to cut out, lots of little nooks and crannies 👀 📦
recovered cardboard, permanent marker and Copic marker

My process for making comic panels from initial rough sketch through to inked and coloured scene ⚙️ 🖼️ ✍️
Those initial squiggles don’t make much sense to anyone else but help me get an idea down and iterate quickly #
