WE'RE BACK, BABES 🎉🚨💖🏳️‍⚧️ For 4 weeks starting on 31st of May, we return to Kathleen Syme library!!! We are doing things a little differently this time - shorter classes, less paperwork, more hands-on learning and sewing. Tickets are now bundled too, meaning you get all 4 weeks in one purchase. Still free 4 mob of course, and still accepting donations to the cause - we are entirely volunteer run and depend on the goodwill of our students and local businesses to do what we do? Any questions, feel free to shoot a message! Otherwise I'm super excited to welcome you to another round of TOUCH CLOTH yewwwww. Booking via link in highlights xoxo

Ready for adventure?! Come for a 🏳️‍⚧️ hike 🏳️‍⚧️ while the weather is still nice! We'll be walking around Flinders Peak in the You Yangs. Be prepared to walk for one to two hours, the terrain can be rugged in places so make sure to wear some sturdy shoes! We'll meet near the Turntable Carpark. You will need to drive to get in, if you need a lift, or for us to pick you up from a nearby train station, please send a DM and we'll try to accomodate you ☺️ Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or to introduce yourself if it's your first time going to a TG event. That's a wrap! With the overwhelming support and success of our first workshop series, we would like to extend a huge thank you to every one who bought tickets, made generous donations, spread the word, baked treats, organised, & generally made the first round of T.C. possible - it takes a village! We not only broke even but, with $400 made, have excess funds which have been donated to Pay the Rent. 90% of total tickets sold over 6 classes - a huge result that I could not have dreamed of when first putting this series together. The total cost of our first series was $373 - (and 29 cents). This included materials we couldn't get donated, booking fees, and printing of class materials. $27 of funds donated to @grassroots_ptr - $26.71 to be exact. Having excess funds to donate couldn't be possible without the interest and generosity of students and donors alike, as well the immense bounty of donated materials from @melbourneartsupplies and @covidnaarm which we are forever grateful for! When I began building Touch Cloth, I could never in a million years have anticipated the overwhelming support it would receive from businesses, communities, students, friends....I am so so overjoyed with how it turned out and beyond proud of the effort each and every student put in to the classes - from mending our loved garments to drafting and designing our own from scratch. While I'm a bit sad that the series has ended (wth am I going to do on Mondays now??), Touch Cloth is just beginning. More to be revealed in the coming days, stay tuned and share around if you know someone wanting to get stuck in to making their own clothing patterns x

We all have clothes we are transitioning into and out of. Let’s keep it in the family, get our spring-summer collections in order, and be part of this clothes-swap event for our trans family in Naarm. The event will run from 10am onwards. The space at Thorne Harbour (located at 200 Hoddle st Abbotsford) is on the 1st floor and is wheelchair accessible. Just a short distance from Victoria Park Station. If you would like to donate, please get in contact with us! Please keep in mind donating clothes that you think someone would like to wear. No damaged or dirty items. If you have spare hangers, please bring them on the day and we can return them after the event. With love from TGP xo

Something different for the cold season. Come for a walk in a lush forest! Did you know nature is super queer? Come nerd out about nature, mushrooms, birds, and more or just come for a chat and a vibe with community in beautiful Kinglake National Park. We're going to meet at the Mason's Falls Picnic Ground at 12pm. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or to introduce yourself if it's your first time going to a TG event. There will possibly be limited spots for a lift so please send a DM and we'll try our best to accommodate you.
