OSC: Lucky Draw Winner @dhanrazart 📣
Dhanraz is a classically trained local artist specialising in oil portraiture, charcoal works, life drawing, landscapes, and animal portraits.
Our OSC £500 fund has allowed Dhan to purchase classical casts for both himself and for his students, to practise portraiture and anatomy.
“For many centuries famous sculptures have been used to train artists, removing the need for a live model which can be expensive and trickier to draw/paint. It was an essential part of my training at Sarum…”
Using sight-size techniques in observations and drawing allows Dhanraz’s art students to eventually progress on to live portraits.
Keen to meet Dhanraz for some creative guidance and feedback?
Come along to our next Crit Night on Thursday 28th May, 6.30pm-8.30pm
