The 7th annual festival starts Friday night at Knight Theater with Tosco Music Beatles Tribute, the Charlotte tradition that inspired the festival and has delighted audiences for more than 20 years. Tickets on sale soon via @toscomusic (the nonprofit behind the festival!)
The festival continues all day Saturday with FabFest Daytime at Parr Center at Central Piedmont Community College, a FREE community festival that brings generations and cultures together to celebrate our creativity and diversity through the music of the Beatles.
FabFest Daytime includes live music on two stages, presentations by Beatles authors, trivia and games, memorabilia, marketplace and vendors, Beatles films, and plenty of ways for the community to get involved - All FREE!

🎨🎶#BeatlesArtContest is open to professional, amateur, student and youth artists — all ages and experience levels #cometogether. Artists can choose to enter the contest, or only exhibit your art. Option to sell your art either way! Separate cash prize categories for ages 13-17 and 12 and younger artists — and Youth Best in Show Award is $200!
🗓️While adult art is due Sep 16, youth artists have an extra week — due Sep 25 — to help students and teachers coordinate student entries and art collections for #FabFestCharlotte after school starts this fall.

One of the major facets of FabFest is the annual Beatles Art Contest that includes youth and adult artists. Last year we had nearly 80 pieces of art.

Flashback to last Tuesday’s Tosco Music Open Mic. We had 15 performers hit the stage and a great and supportive audience.
It was fun having @jonahbtmusic play along with our Executive Director John Tosco on the opening singalongs! It was a great collaboration that added to the energy of the night!

🎸Eric performed at TMP many times, first over 20 years ago in 2004 — and we especially loved his sitar playing! Swipe to hear him on sitar and with Gigi in 2013, and again with James Brock in 2022, and with Thurston Howell Band in 2020.
🎶 In February 2020, Eric and Thurston Howell brought their yacht rock light and love to TMP singalongs, and closed the show with “Love Will Keep Us Together”. We hope the introduction by Cam Love himself will resound in the hearts of everyone missing him now. With gratitude for his music, joy and humor, and his visible passion for music and zest for life, we send Big Love to Gigi Dover, his wife, sweetheart and partner in music and life, and to his family and all his band mates and friends.
